Another Thing For Free

STUBBY PENCILS. You find these in post offices, libraries...anyplace you have to fill out a form (except in the Department of Motor Vehicles where you're shit outta luck if you didn't bring your own pen). Pencils with erasers on them are an entirely different story. No one's giving those away. Somehow this pencil ended up under the front seat of my car.

More Things For Free

This entire place setting -- including the salt and pepper -- comes in a clear plastic bag. I grab a few of them every time I go to the cafeteria across the street from my office. All ready to eat...for free.

And now for something completely different: a modest project documenting things I'll pay for and things I feel I'm entitled to for free. So, to start things off, one of the things to which, as an American, I have a God-given right...for free: FIRE.
